The hotel vibe is genuinely welcoming with friendly staff and superb food, especially the homemade pasta. However, the busy road outside made evening strolls tricky, and walking to Amalfi involves navigating winding paths or a bus ride. The non-pavement paths can be daunting for some travelers.

We spent 3 amazing nights enjoying the rooftop terrace and the lovely garden area. The breakfast was a treat with fresh veggies and delicious pastries, while dinner was an absolute delight with their famous seafood dishes. Just a heads up, the bus service can be hit or miss, so planning ahead for transportation is key! ☀️

The views from our superior double room were absolutely stunning, with the sea glistening between the cliffs. We loved that the staff was attentive, and meals were the best we've had in Italy, especially breakfast which had so many delicious options. My teenage daughter particularly enjoyed the local pastries!
My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities nearby. A pool would be an excellent addition for hotter days.

La Pergola offers a lovely family-run vibe. The staff are genuinely warm and accommodating. I enjoyed the rooftop bar, especially the refreshing Lemon Spritz cocktails. Having my breakfast on the terrace surrounded by lemon trees was unbeatable. The cooking classes were a great addition, but sadly, I couldn't fit one in. The location is convenient with bus access right outside, although I often ended up taking taxis due to crowded buses. The room was functional with a nice terrace, perfect for sunbathing. But, the noise from the road outside was a bit much at times, and earplugs were necessary. The bed felt a bit hard for my taste, and the bathroom was smaller than expected. I experienced some noise from staff moving furniture early in the morning, which affected my sleep. Overall, a good place to stay at Amalfi.

This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge, and a fantastic restaurant. I remember how the staff helped me with my luggage on my first stay. Andrea, the waiter, is a gem. ask for his recommendations! I’m coming back for a romantic escape.

I enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler, mainly to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The view from the hotel was spectacular, and the breakfast was outstanding with a great variety that was far beyond typical options. I also appreciated having a bus stop right outside, making it easy to explore the nearby towns. The staff was incredibly welcoming, truly making me feel at home. However, I did find that the room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, and the dining options were somewhat limited considering the location.

great location , but noisy surroundings
The location is unbeatable for access to town and the beach, making exploration easy. The terrace offers a stunning view that truly enhances breakfast time, where the homemade pastries stand out. The friendly staff, particularly the owner's son, made each meal enjoyable with his exceptional cooking and charm.
The surroundings can be quite noisy at night, disturbing peaceful sleep.
